thanks...i called the local police about my options, and they said it was my call--I dont even think they were listening to me...but yeah, I did put a call into my lawyer and he is going to get back to me....for now I just moved there stuff in the basement/storage area---Come to find out with a little research they scammed me pretty good.

There is now an entire industry of scumbag contingency lawyers and mold remediators (wearing spacesuits) that have pounced on this issue.

Make sure it's limited though so that person doen't stab you in the back and take everything you own, I had friends that had it happen when I was there.Another option, I've never used one so I don't know exactly how it works, but I believe by using a land trust and you being the beneficiary, you could have your lawyer be the trustee and then he/she can, sign the documents for you.

I had 2 lawyers pumping me full of estates, TONS of realtor's calling me before listing good properties, it was all spoon fed sweetness that I spent 3 years developing.

I know you said that the lawyer stated that you should not contact the police or DA because they don't care about getting your money back.

If you expect to do this multiple times then pay a lawyer to get you sorted on the first one.

My wife is also coming in the army as a lawyer, so we both serve.
