Nashville has been blowing up and I know that's forced appreciation into some of the suburbs and surrounding cities.

Currently I run an online business, and part of the reason for the desire to get involved with a rental property is that I see rental properties as a smarter and more stable long term investment as compared to an online business that can dry up in a few years time.Currently I live in a very low income city on the east coast.

Has anyone attended or have any information regarding the Quad Cities Education workshop?  

I can pay a visit to the city, but I was hoping to find an answer online today.I'm in escrow to buy a house, nearing the end of my inspection period.

I don't want to bank on appreciation so I am not considering it but I guess technically I should mention that it's a growing city.

If yes, does this require permits and other things from the city, etc? 

I am new to BP, but started a meetup 3 months ago in my city of Bowie Maryland.

But as i will manage the property i think will be better and easier the long term rent by at least one year contract for family from here, than make shorts rentals for tourists.
