I ended up using an eviction service to help with the eviction, although they don't employ an attorney so they can't give advice. 

You should try out the BiggerPockets calculators -- that will help you understand more objectively what type of returns you'll earn.

I'm probably missing a thing or two but that's fine.This year we hired a controller to help keep everything running smoothly.

So now instead of getting the deed, selling the property and helping to recover the losses from all of the redemptions, I end up still losing money on the liens that do not redeem.

I have been doing really well investing here and I have a few clients from the bay area that I help invest here in the valley.
