I like the way it looks, but it requires a minimum moisture content in the air, which I don't have out here in the desert, so I've never installed it.I can't think of any reason a buyer would object to it, other than the obvious one that they have their heart set on red cherry floors (which is a problem with any and every flooring you use)I don't think bambeoo is any cheaper than other wood flooring, so you chose it because you like the way it looks.

As others have mentioned, it will be the standard 16" center 2x4 walls, and ceiling joists on the same pattern as the rest of the house.My guess is that the big box stores only sell stuff that DIY folks would buy.

That being said, the two options that I'm aware of are to do owner financing which would allow you to pay taxes based on an installment sale (you do not get all of your money out right away, but only pay taxes on what you get out and still pay all the taxes) or to live in the property for 2+ years before sale.Here is a thread with a lot more information about the installment sale option: https://www.biggerpockets.com/forums/51/topics/142582-tax-implications-of-seller-financing-via-note

The easiest DIY solution (that I think would look decent) would be to get some (gel) wood stain in the closest color you can find to touch up the scratches then remove the handles and do two coats of (satin finish) polyshades in a color slightly darker than the doors are now (probably bombay mahogany).

Assuming it is high, I will install a radon mitigation system as I believe it is the right thing to do...I wouldn't want to live in a house with high radon with my family.
