My attorney said that a real signature holds more weight always.  

While this is true that NY State is not landlord friendly/2nd behind CA in its laws as being the most tenant friendly, I find it a bit strange agents will often try to talk someone out of property.

I am investing in real estate without the need to put in 20%+ deposit, He pays the monthly mortgage which im not liable for, I benefit from appreciation..

Everything I seem to find is very high level about how to raise capital, how to find a deal, how to get your first deal, etc. but I cannot find anything that does a deep dive on real estate investing systems and structuring!

When buying your 1st home/real estate investment is a real estate agent needed on your side?

@Moira Baggett, there is no real answer to this other than: review your operating agreement and potentially talk to an attorney, likely to do the same.Most syndication docs drafted by capable attorneys will effectively state that you are acknowledging these are risky investments and there is a real chance you lose all your money.  

I'm interested in real estate investing, but I'm unsure how to begin.

I've used other programs for it in the past, but I like that Baselane is both a banking and bookkeeping platform built specifically for real estate investors.

It's always best to do your own experiments and in your case you have a two-year successful case study.Not sure if you self-manage, but either way, did you get into real estate investing to get a second job with more to-do tasks, or did you get into this for cashflow?
