We had a great response from a craigslist ad, showed it to 5 prospects today and have an additional showing or two for tomorrow.

It could have been true, but my renovations were scheduled to start tomorrow and only be 10 days to completion, so I wasn't excited to hold up everything to see if this was legit, especially with the "take it or leave it" pitch.

We'll see what shakes out - first offer is going through tomorrow!

It is in a desirable neighborhood, it is most likely going to appreciate more than the surrounding area, and it is worth it to us to grab a house like this for our portfolio, particularly if the seller is willing to give us the financing.I'll keep everyone posted on how things go tomorrow.

I never heard of this (have only owned duplexes for 2 years now) though, I will call the permit office tomorrow to see what it's about, and what this costs, but curious if others have had this?
