Portfolio loans are not the answer...they solve the problem of the loan limit, however, you substitute the problem with "handcuffs". 

Actually my bank solved my Venmo fraud issue. 

I assumed moving me would solve my problem especially since there are health concerns . 

For your situation, I personally wouldn't recommend doing a fix and flip because it doesn't solve your income problem and flips can turn upside down QUICKLY if you don't have experience in construction or you haven't done flips before.

I won't even touch on interest rates since no one has a clue where those are going. 

I'd say 50/50 -- The brokers on the board would probably side with him and the agents might side with you and no clue how the other parties would sit (assuming your board is made up like ours).  

The reason I love seller financing so much is the opportunity to work directly with other individuals, solve problems and think creatively.
