If you look at tort law which is what 90% of property owners will be dealing with (negligence) such as slip and falls, lawsuits about a railing that maybe came loose and somebody fell or lead paint or any of a million lawsuits, the law says that the LLC can and will be held liable as well as the "owner" of the LLC personally.

I.e repairs for one location but they wrote it off for this one; fuel and depreciation on vehicles; and subscriptions. 

Yes, this may sound risky, and at least one is going off the rails but across the board is at least a 20% IRR.

You shouldn't have any issue using the land as collateral on whatever type of property purchase you want so long as you use the right vehicle.
