We don't call the owner, unless a real emergency; winter freeze-up/flood, blown water heater, tree fell on house, that type of major issue.We have our vendors/contractors take before, during and after digital photos of all maintenance work, and submit those with the invoice via email.

I fell for one of those a while back, and still cant stop the texts from coming in.

Immediately got with a great brokerage which invests a ton in training and sort of just fell into a mentorship.

It was their features and performance as a *crowdfunding platform* where they were evaluated and fell short.

If you have a short-term rental with no cancellation policy, and the tenant gives notice they will be vacating on week 1 (they fell at a restaurant) are you obligated to give money back if you re-rent the unit?

I drove past and it's in a decent residential area - as far as I can tell someone must have planned on building on it at some point, but then the deal fell through or something, I think.  

Just fell into one $3,500 & its rented for $700/month & they did all the work to make it comfortable, especially given our winter.The best last year was taking over a home Deed-in-lieu of for $6,000 in tax arrears & the owners stayed paying $775/month (never miss a payment).

I did see a maintenance request from the tenant, a big tree branch fell and knocked off some gutter.   

Sorry in advance for the tone this post is going to take, but as a buyer who has lost out on homes because of other people's bogus offers that subsequently fell through, I get a little incensed at people making "all cash" offers when they don't have the cash.
