It's a simple question to ask the owner.And if this property is part of a 1031, the current owners may have a change of heart on parting with this if there has been a big upside appreciation gain...they'll be taxed on a stepped-up basis and it might be sticker shock.

Some people who will feel like buying now in order to lock in rates before they go higher, but I think most people like you and me are going to wait-and-see, thereby pushing sales and prices down even further.However, interest rates are a reaction to inflation, and the current causes of inflation, one-time stimulus and supply shocks, are short term (another 1 or 2 years at the most).

@Jeulissa Gonzales here are a few I’ve encountered:1) Evicting a roommate2) Evicting a tenant on the other half of my duplex and having to take that tenant to court3)  Listening to my tenant on the other half of my duplex destroy my tenant through a wall we shared, while the police did nothing, as the tenants have rights to “their home” that are shockingly overreaching.
