My partner is an agent and was looking at other recent smaller plots in the area with nice mobile homes on them selling for $180K-200K each. 

I am also a contractor specializing in interior renovations and have extensive knowledge on older home mechanics.  

If you have concerns on mechanicals dying shortly after purchase, have them get a home warranty. 

If so, a QC is not a sufficient mechanism to do that.  

If you have a mechanical vent then the easiest route is to close up the wall interior and exterior.

A duplex that I put an offer out of state (Ohio), was accepted.I was reading a few posts before I posted this to get a brief idea on what to do next.I'm on mobile so formatting is going to be terrible, I'll do my best.1) get current lease agreements.

@Ben SatterfieldBen, I know a family with a couple mobile home parks that have generated a lot of wealth from them.

How about raising $1MM in addition to what the lender requires, to cover CapEx reserves for major mechanicals, cost overruns, and working capital.

Does anyone know a rough estimate of costs to create 1 lot for a mobile home?
