The last step in your screening process, should include a phone call or meeting to assess the character of your tenant and whether you feel they will be easy to work with or highly demanding and a pain in the ***.

Or can additional names be included on the deed (joint tenancy) without negatively affecting the banks loan decision?

The seller has now put the house back on the market , but not returned any of my money including the earnest deposit.
