Someone asked a group of people today and there were conflicting answers so I thought you might have some insights

Jim Carson I'm kinda in the same boat but I want to know how your gonna deal with depreciation buy back and Capitol gains if you don't do a 1031 exchange.

Anyone have any insight on this?

I'm sure my interests will evolve overtime as I gain more knowledge and resources but at the moment I do not have capital so I'm looking for ways to get started with little/no money.I've recently read information from Kent Clothier on wholesaling and have also recently learned about a concept called "overages".

We kept the first one for two years before selling to exclude all the gains from capital gains tax.

-i searched on google maps and it has this amazing feature that allows you to see the street in "3D" so with the mouse on my computer i "drove" around the neighborhood i would like to wholesale in, (where i think the best deals FOR THE BUYER) will be, not for my personal gain. with wholesaling, when doing research on properties, its easy to get excited about what you can potentially make, but anyone who has read "think and grow rich" knows that any profit is a reward. my motivation for wholesaling houses in the "hood" is because it is my home.
