Are there any tips/tricks on saving on lumber costs from suppliers?

The problem is that the REI is going to be limited in both the number of refinances they can have at one time, and the total number of dollars they can have in loans at one time...and usually, the number of dollars is the bigger of the problems.The solution is credit partners, but the deal must have enough juice in it to satisfy all involved.  

Any tips/tricks there?

I currently own two single family properties and in the process of obtaining my first multi unit quad.I will contine to read posts for real investment tips.

The house is paid off, is a complete mess (owner was a hoarder) but is in a location where I own several other properties and could be a good deal for me if I could get it at the right price.Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
