Average rent for a 3 bed house is $3000-$3400.

With that said, maybe the home becomes a 4 bed/2 bath because of it and that might have value as a rental.

So, I got my first and only property in 2019 - it’s a 2 bed 2 bath apartment in Jersey city where I live in one bedroom and rent out the other - kitchen and living room are fully furnished.

@Bruce WoodruffThe original owner about 15 years ago may have found burglar bars far more beneficial in his entertainment room ( a finished basement below bedrooms) over overly sensitive burglar alarms.By the way there are no burglar bars in the bed rooms.

Once ready I will be painting throughout and doing living room and bed room floors.
