One way or another that "amount" is going to transfer to me...so day. 

Some buy or transfer to personal name then transfer back to the LLC.

@Jennifer S.I suggest asking the benefits provider for a written explanation as generally most pensions can be transferred to an IRA, or a retirement plan such as a solo 401k plan if you are self-employed.
