Also if they have children you could have a huge liability on your hands if one of these kids hurts themselves due to the stairway not being safe.

(Some of the books that helped me the most I have read multiple times) Financing your deals is not impossible if you have downpayment money, but if you have a BK and no cash, you're right, it's very challenging

But it was her boy friend that put the down payment down 5k then and 5k later which he paid.( he was also the father of some of her children) The house went in default when he found out about it he brought it current.
