especially James for the great advice, I didn't realize the great opportunity that real estate has and after reading and interacting to several forums I found that my best fit in this market right now would be wholesaling and rehabbing properties.

You can arrive at any time but from 6:00 - 6:45 PM they'll have a Q&A which is very helpful for newbies and this month there will be no special speaker and the rest of the meeting will be very interactive with a lot of participation (more Q&A, experiences from knowledgeable folks, good stories and bad, information about property valuation, etc.).

I am very excited to have found this site and look forward to interacting with all of you.

I think about $450 for the course, I prefer live courses for the learning and interaction, $100 or so for the state tests, $900/year or so for NAR/MLS. 

I am hoping to learn as much as I can from this community as well as other sources and look forward to interacting with everyone!
