No, the Option isn't terminated, but you should never sell on an option that has a term longer than 12 months anyway, so if the tenant breaches the lease, you shouldn't have more than a few months of possible "dead weight". 

There are all the headaches you'd expect, such as my mailbox and shed in backyard getting broken into, deliveries stolen, etc.
