Make sure with their company they do not push you off onto a newly hired inspector and demand you want the experienced person to conduct and look at the property.Sometimes the company has great experience but the worker is inept so you have to watch for that.Inspectors usually charge based on the sq ft of the house and if they have to crawl under a foundation or it has a basement etc.

Here is what our contractor said in response to the insurance company:" If the adjuster would have pushed on the walls he would have noticed the exterior walls were water damaged so bad that they are not even attached to the structure.

I do care if he is pushing a 70% deal into an 80% deal because he is getting greedy and pushing up price because he thinks he can get away with it.
