Everything seems in good shape from visual inspection, and the previous owner removed unsightly wood panneling, repainted, added new carpet and flooring and upgraded some plumbing.

The BEST way to find out rents is go to Craigslist and look for similar houses to the ones you're looking at around the area you are looking at.There is no other liquid market for rentals like Craigslist.If you're buying a 3/2, look for other 3/2's 3/1's 4/2's, hardwood/carpet, size etc.

@Joe Butcher I have some questions.Was that wooden floor under the carpet.

The floor plan is perfect for a triplex after a modest remodel.

We closed on 4/7.It took my guys just over 3 weeks, to add an unofficial 3rd bedroom, paint the place head to toe, redo half the flooring (home depot allure flooring at $.99 i'm a huge fan), take care of a bunch of exterior maintenance issues, put in new appliances, do some minor kitchen work, replace the hot water heater, couple of other small things.

However, we have possibilities above that floor.

The house is packed floor to ceiling of items.
