I did enough of that back when I was a young LL.If you're not comfy with that, do a detailed walk thru video of the unit and post to YouTube. 

I have been watching a few of the biggerpockets youtube videos, listening podcasts, and reading a few of the blogs and articles on how to invest in multifamilies rental properties.

In MA if the house is older (think WW2 old) you can get away without it having a closet due to the age of the property.
