I plan to finish the 1st unit in the first month and then rent it out and repeat the process until i get to the third unit.

Since initial purchase, we've done a cash out-refi to finish the yard and add features to increase equity into the property.

Nothing will go right.I would wait on any major building project or any renovation that goes beyond an emergency DIY scope, something you could take over and finish yourself if things go sideways.

I am working through my 2019 tax return, which is significantly impacted by a $200K renovation of a 12-unit apartment building that I finished late last year.

That should be more than enough time for the eviction to finish.
