I'm still doing market research and can't decide what would be a less riskier option for me, is it better to find a property in a vacation destination that's more rural and outdoors or a property in a more urban/metro area?

Was more until Fed raised rates and houses here dropped significantly in price, eroding some of my equity.I've been investing in VGT and JEPQ for the last year or so and for the first time in my life, have NOT lost money in the stock market like I did when I was merger investing, options trading, etc.

Some people like to bet big and potentially lose big, we prefer to place medium size bets and consistently win more modest rewards.By primarily investing in properties with an all-in cost under $100,000, we often have multiple viable exit strategies in case the original one does not work out (we don’t pretend to have a guaranteed crystal ball, but we do like to have options at the end, and we find that our students do as well!)
