Have you called the health district to see if there is room for new fields, wells, and tanks?

Not to mention the time spent actually going to school if you don't envision being in that career field long term.I think you will find that doing a flip from a distance is challenging for experienced investors.

While the house was vacant the neighbor came and dug up the leach fields for the house I just bought.

Our July eviction involved someone who also worked in the medical field; worked in cardiology at our medical college, made great money, had an advanced degree, a partner who also had a medical background, etc. etc.. 

Secondly, my business partner and I are both career women (girl power!)

I bought this one a year ago as a major rehab.. turned out termites had a field day could not save it..

I spent 4 years early in my career working for Kaufman and Broad (now KB Home), and have been directly involved in land acquisition my entire career (now going on 34 years).

Plus with the requirement in Colorado to hang the license for 2 years at a broker I'm not sure if I want to convert my career for that benefit just yet.  

They key would be to find like minded professionals that have an interest in being part of an ecosystem and would approach business in the same way.  2) How do I attract individuals / companies - Initially it would be like this, reaching out to my network (I've been doing this in LA for almost 25 years)  and to networking sites, like Bigger Pockets to find small shops and independent entrepreneurs who would benefit from a social network in their field and have small space requirements.  

This could be the deal that launches my rental career...or it could be a dud.
