Other red flags?

Too many red flags on his part.

Not what I wanted to hear but what I suspected to be the case...the repairs in this case definitely don't equal the purchase price...and I do max out the funds which will qualify for capital gains so the repairs will have to come from post-tax savings.From the little I researched it does look like an incentive geared more towards larger investors and I suspect will squeeze the opportunity out of these zones for the little players...I'm not even sure what make that census tract qualify since the market seem super hot as is...houses are back at 2007 prices yet get offers in less then a week.

I side with the tenant on most of these things but the mulch in the yard and allergies send up a red flag to me.

There isn't anything that's horridly ugly. ie, red walls, black carpet, decorating is a matter of individual taste so anything you paint or redo should be for the average.

Lease hasn’t been signed yet.My question: Is this red flag that her very first check is bounced ?

In my relative short time on BP, I've found it to be extremely useful and beneficial to set keyword search alerts for "Indianapolis" and you'll start to see who the main players in the Indianapolis market are and a good way to identify potential individuals you may want to further connect with.  

Been discussed on BP MANY MANY times...do a search.....There can be instances where this plan makes sense.....client travels a lot or has a big influx of $$ etc..... but most of the time its a HUGE red flag.....at least to me.

Buying a property that has been divided up into 5 units with only one meter waves a red flag for me.

The 500$ scam story is weird and yeah that raises red flags.
