Before you sit down and speak to an experienced investor, it would benefit you greatly to do some research here on BP (for free) to learn the lingo, the steps, the formulas, etc.

Ideally, you have a couple close relationships you can speak candidly to about your thoughts, and if those relationships are also people who would be interested in investing, you are able to pick their brain on deal structures they would invest in, and therefore kill two birds with one stone.

Ask to speak with some of their current owners and current/former tenants.

So I just started reading "The book on investing in real estate with no and low money down" by Brandon Turner and in the second chapter he speaks about purchasing an owner-occupied multifamily property.

I would really appreciate speaking with anyone who has experience with limited liability companies.

I will use that article when I speak with mortgage brokers.
