For example, I would recommend touching base with local landlords in the market you're wanting to do section 8 investing in to get a feel for how the local section 8 office handles landlord/office relationships. 

I also want to purchase the property by the end of the year and was wondering if there are some grants that would help me with down payment assistance and if it would be recommended in my situation.

I did a bit of research and wondering if the current interest rates, high real estate prices, and weak 12-14 week rental period make it a bad investment.

Christine, if you bought three tax liens today and it has been more than three years since the first one, it is highly unlikely you will get a final order of judgment by 10/1/24.

Since the interest rates are high and rent's wont cover mortgage , i'm ok with paying money every month with hope equity build up and rates going down in future  .

They value furnished common areas, high-speed Wi-Fi, security, in-unit laundry, and smart home technology.

We still have some tenants that bring rent to the office instead of paying online.

Areas I think would do well are those where people are moving back to or highly desired - Arcadia, Scottsdale, Tempe, Gilbert, parts of PHX, and Chandler / Mesa.
