It could be because of the inspection, the color of the house, the last name of the seller, the neighbors, the race/ethnicity of the seller, the schools, or for whatever the hell you feel like (and you don't even have to tell the seller what the reason is).

However, whether you invest here or elsewhere, I still think there is value in deeply contemplating the question of why it is so much more expensive ... that is a rhetorical question for you to noodle on, but my advice is to think long and hard to understand the factors that go into it as it will help you see the REI world in color so to speak rather than in black and white like most newbies (no offense intended to you or other newbs).
