I can see the added value of investing in the suburbs but at the same time (as a millennial) I am envisioning greater long-term opportunity in the city since most millennials prefer urban dwellings.I, myself, graduated a few years ago and still have some student loan debt, so I would prefer something that isn't terribly capital intensive.

My cousin is in his late-twenties and recovering from bad credit from college credit cards and unpaid student debt.

I'd love to get a feel for what types of properties would work with college students there, though.

Dawn:We have fibre-optic in all of our rental properties and, in many instances (student rentals), it is complementary to the tenant (we use it for our building monitoring).
