The purpose of the LLC is to separate your business from your personal.

This has been a big question for myself and my wife who are planning to separate from the Navy.

When Title II of the Jump Start Our Business Startups (JOBS) Act took effect in September 2013, Rule 506 of Regulation D was split into 2 separate exemptions, 506(b) and 506(c).The 506(c) plan permits issuers to solicit and advertise an offering, similar to crowd funding with restrictions.

If I were doing this deal I would separate the two items like this: Funding and Profit.Funding gets a certain pre-established return. 

Buy 2, 2.5, 3 storey single family and convert them to duplex triplex fourplex via each level with separate entrances..must be value add.. definitely need capital especially for rehab but you have built in a lot of equity.

Once that's done can I transfer ownership of Property C LLC to Blue Capital LLC so that way Blue Capital owns 100% and manager manages Property C LLC.I believe this structure will keep all assets separate and organised and maximise asset protection while minimising liabilities.Any comments or opinions please state below.

I've tried to look at public companies but typically the lease cancellation expense isn't broken out separately.

Most of the newer properties have separate electric meters, and some have separate water as well.

Which utilities, if any, are separately metered?  

Is each development project covered under a separate LLC or Trust to protect the company?
