As a matter of fact, I feel lonely since I moved to Canada twelve years ago but what gives me mental energy and makes me move forward, besides my family, is my passion for RE (in US).

I am very new to real estate investing with low savings so far but I am so mentally ready to get out there and just DO IT!

On the other hand, you definitely have to consider what other investors are thinking and what their mentality is about buying and how much the 70% rule is ingrained in us.

:  My parents are the traditional "Poor Dad" mentality and I would like to make this mutually beneficial for both them and I.  

That mentality is baked into the culture in both Flint and Detroit in so many places it's not funny.So, if your population can't read, has no idea what professional behavior looks like, and has a cultural aversion to working harder than the other guy (lest you take his job) you aren't left with much.

People tend to get mentally lazy when they use someone else’s spreadsheets and not understand the logic.  

Armed with the right knowledge and understanding, high cost markets become gold mines for the investor savvy individuals - this is anyone and everyone who is willing to put themselves out there to learn and network - thereby mitigating the mental and emotional aspects these unique markets tend to bring out in otherwise uninformed investors. 

My top 3 for beginner investors, including myself, is figuring out the values you get from your investment, surrounding yourself with the right people (and you decide the definition of "right people") and just have the mentality of getting things done.

I'm just learn that on this journey our speech and mental have enormous affects on our outcomes and I just want you to do great 😊
