I currently do not hold my CPA and I am not giving you official tax advice but..You live in the state with THE HIGHEST state income tax but want to buy in a state with no income tax that gets their tax money through property tax (the 4th highest in property tax).

Of the two houses, one did not require money, the other he got from his father.We are now looking to raise capital, and I was wondering two things.1)The best way to network in order to raise capital, how should I approach people in real estate meetups, or where else should I look for people?

Also, networking/getting to know other people interested in Real Estate Investing would be really great!

You could also start networking with your local real estate investor groups.

I would suggest right up front that you need to hire an Attorney, CPA, or Business Consultant that has experience on similar "problems". 

I am new to the real estate society I've really been trying to find the right people to network with and I'm willing to pay to learn as much as I can.I have been trying to find leads through code violations but no results are there any more strategies that I need to know of?
