Can you please share what areas are the best to invest in in this current market of high interest rates and low inventory?

Hello BP community.I currently make 125 k a year and I own 1 property that is performing well as an STR.I dont have the upfront cash to purchase another for a down payment but my parents are interested in financing my down payment with a 5% interest rate. 

Nightly rates are decent at around $170 a night and occupancy for summer is good.

Purchase price: $1,500,000 Cash invested: $13,000,000 this project is currently under construction it is a 90 unit ground up build of market rate apartments with a student housing element What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

If you want to flip or do more short term projects, then a HELOC may be a good idea if you can find a lender for that and you can keep your likely low rate.

Its my first time seeing this particular product.based off of the low entry cost, Id be curious of the interest rate, have a feeling it would be hi, but you could get in.If you have no capital, how are you going to make the interest payments.

So I looked into it and found that the city is expanding faster than the current infrastructure can support so they had to raise water rates to fund expanding their water and sewer systems.

The remaining capital gains are taxed at your normal capital gains rate. 

Average costs agents charge will rise 20% over the next 3 years. 

As interest & insurance rates have risen, it makes it much harder to meet these types of checks.At the end of the day, people are more fearful than greedy so now is the time to be greedy.
