Hi guys and gals,I am wondering what your best strategies are when it comes to finding deals and private lenders..

The Money I get out will be used to do some work in the already finished basement to convert it to a basement apartment.

I put an offer in on a 3br/1ba condo in Dorchester and the HOA was run pretty horribly, I just am wondering if there might be room to save money on what the building is paying for its insurance.Thank you so much!

The rest of the work (electrical, finish plumbing, mud/tape, drywall, paint, flooring, etc) cost us $6,500.

So posting in off topic as I really don't know how this fits in, just wondering if anyone out there has been in this situation. 

I’m wondering if the 203k loan will cover finishing a basement and adding a bedroom, bathroom, and kitchenette area.

I've just been wondering if I'm using the wrong agents or if it's just this market.

At this point, I wonder if it's worth it.
