I've only had one small issue and I was able to call a friend and he referred me to someone that was able to help me take care of it.

If you move into a new location take photo's and note condition of apartment on a move in sheet so you have reference at move out of what you originally had, and ask new landlord to either fix what's wrong, or reference that on a copy of your move in sheet.

The way I approach them is when I'm talking about what they want, they typically say all cash and at market price.

Please kindly refer me to an honest, skilled, fast and reasonably priced handyman or carpenter.

Typically as people move further out into the suburbs they demand more space not less (ie, huge house, not apt)

If you are completing background checks, reference checks, they have good credit scores, etc. etc.
