I believe the question you need to ask yourself is "will this deal still makes sense in a bear market?" 

My understanding is even though the purchase contract bears my personal name, the title company can draft paperwork that will allow the deal to be closed in the LLC given I will be reflected as a partner in that LLC.

International taxation is a complex area so you would need the scale to bear legal fees for tax attorneys  and CPAs on both sides of the border.

Real Estate investing is a legitimate option, particularly if you are smarter than the average bear and work harder than the average person.

This was after the foundation was given the OK by 2 separate inspectors and occurred due to lack of support under the house, soft soil in Florida, and lack of gutters to disperse rain water from the foundation.
