@Greg Kasmer would you still call the rental company even with that much time passed since renting?

Some people think I jumped in too quick, etc.

Seems like you have many options and making moves to get you closer to your goal is where you put your time and resources.  

In addition, the lender is going to incur costs including losses do to the time value of money if you stop paying and they have to take the property back.

This is a big problem as its cutting off my rental income for all the blocked time on VRBO so any insight is greatly appreciated.

It takes time from when the property is sold for the title to be registered (in my case with the province-I was told it was taking up to 2 months).Nothing is automatic with transferring.

There is only so much time in a day, week, month, year, so remember your focus will need to be divided up between real estate investing, family, and enjoying life.
