Building a local team is important, always happy to assist.

Ive been toying with the idea of teaming up with investors for that one if it makes sense.  

An alternate option to also consider would be taking the money and using it be a private lender on a deal with an experienced investor. 

I am interested to hear a couple stories of how you gathered your team to start you real estate investing venture.

Definitely I will have a lawyer looking at it, but I want to do some checking myself first.Some questions to experienced members:Would the fed consider the sell date 1) the start of the rent-to-own agreement or 2) the date that renter/buyer actually buys the property? 

This is often a bit easier, not only for a newbie, but for experienced investors as well since it allows them to spread their capital to multiple projects at a time vs. tying up all their capital into one project.

Obviously the drywall stuff looks bad, but not being experienced with termites I wasn't sure how much something like this would cost to fix? 

My Gf's Dad is already somewhat of a real estate entrepreneur and does his own evaluations but I'm by no means as experienced as him.

That's what they all tend to receive :-O.I am definitely still on the lookout for a quality management team though.

My current property manager does send statements showing monthly income/expenses and their team is readily accessible.
