I've been in business for years and I still regularly encounter title companies, attorneys, accountants, and realtors that either don't understand what I do or those that do say it's illegal.

Most buyers get upset when they encounter Wholesalers who do this.

To those who have encountered this or know how to install doors, what would you advise?

That is 110% a scam account.

What can I do to ensure that I don't get scammed by another investor when I am just trying to do my deals?

I have been talking with these guys for some time and they are not the scam artists that most people associate. 

One thing I will add is we are getting more scam inquiries.

They’re going after robocalls and texts, caller ID spoofing, call blocking, and one ring phone scams.

- Any pitfalls new investors in this particular area encounter?

If you click on he magnifying glass in the upper right you can type in home warranty. 90% of the replies will be they are a scam and not worth the money.
