Of course they probably want to make a buck and might not be completely concerned about my risk.You can also think of it this way, if someone has a 2nd home or a vacation home, are they NOT allowed to rent it out on a month to month basis when they aren't present?

It would seem odd to me to have multiple GCs show up on the same day (either while looking at the property before an offer or during/after the inspection), but I'd be concerned to get one bid if I am not familiar with the GC's track record.
