I use the good stuff -- 12mm vinyl that actually looks like tile in many cases.It's MUCH cheaper than tile (if you include installation costs) and for lower-end flips, I don't think it detracts from the resale value at all.Just my $.02...J, do you mind linking to this flooring at Lowes, HD or somewhere we can check pricing, colors, styles, etc.?

I don't like to be in slum lord neighborhoods, I really like blue color neighborhoods and I hate higher ends neighborhoods.I n my markets I like 4 beds two baths wi garage, purchase and rehab for around 100k to 120k and rent between 1000 and 1200.

You might also want to save some time and money by painting all of your trim the same color as the walls.

@Luc Boiron Agreed on the yellow, however the few people we've had come through last weekend before it hit the market all loved the color.

Make sure you seal off any HVAC ducting going to the garage.  

These guys carry "twos and threes" and they can range from out of square to colors don't match to uneven tile.  

He should be able to provide some good color on specific streets and what you can expect.

I love the exterior design elements and the color of the wood floors. 

Paint everything in one color, remove carpet and put linoleum (my guy told that it will look almost like wood floor), remove trash from previous tenants.
