I'm learly of shopping it too much, with the risk of dinging my credit in the process. 

Especially if it's brokered hard money, where you need to shop various end-lenders with various differing criteria. 

Connect with 3 local flippers, take them out to coffee and take detailed note on what they are doing and how they are doing it.

You may be better off shopping around for a better deal.
