For both your doors and window questions, highly recommend stopping by Lisbon Door (abt 50th and Lisbon) they have EXTREMELY knowledgeable staff. also always have a fairly large inventory of old doors and windows in back which is about as organized as you could get a large# of all sorts of shapes, sizes and types of old, reclaimed doors and windows, so its not like you're wasting half the day sifting through a pile of junk!

The only thing constant is change.In any case, there is much more value on sifting through self-promotion on BP then sifting through promotion TV ads while watching re-runs of NCIS. :)

How does a blogger sift through all the material out there and create an article, is there any method to the madness?

Are you looking for a spreadsheet listing properties and whether or not they are on these lists:code violations, tax delinquent, 24 Hour arrest record, pre foreclosure, auction list, city liens, owner obituaries, etc ....this information would be listed all in one place. which means you would know if properties were actually worth pursuing depending on how many lists they are on.plus all of the relevant information needed for the property from each one of those lists could easily be added. plus skip trace information could be added for homeowner.basically i can systematically sift through all of these lists and see if there are matches for one property on multiple lists.

I would have to sift through ~10 phone calls a day and another 5-7 "I am interested" responses on Zillow and Hotpads, etc.

BP is the greatest thing since sliced bread, however, when you put a question out there, sometimes you get as many different answers as people posting and have to sift through to find what fits your exact situation.

We no longer sift through a "reply all" e-mail thread.

It's easy to fall prey for the weary.I AGREE WHOLEHEARTEDLY that most wholesalers are newbs, some are sharks looking to make an easy buck, and the remainder are quickly sifted out of business before they even get started.
