20% is about average for a short term rental as far as management fees go.

We are now doing short term rentals but we're thinking about changing to a small wedding venue. 

In short, you ride the 'coattails' of the previous owner's taxes for the first year.  

Hi BP community,I'm going through a landlord's worst nightmare now, long story short, I have a fully furnished rental property in Florida, previously an AirBnB converted to long term rental. 

When a rental is taken out of service for personal use the accumulated depreciation goes away over a short period of time.

I'm considering purchasing a condo or a small SFH in the Oceanside/Carlsbad area as an investment property and renting it out on a short term rental site like AirBNB. 

I'm focusing on short term rentals around Lake Cumberland and manufactured home parks here in Kentucky.The need for affordable housing and shortage of housing supply has made for a very lucrative investing opportunity.
