In adddition to requireing my tenants to have a renters' policy, I have umbrella insurance that provides additional liability protection (above and beyond what your homeowners provides for your rental).

A couple questions I would have is were they renters or homeowners and what was the issue causing displacement. 

Then my home owners insurance on that property has liability coverage so I should be able to contact them to cover my LLC?
