If I hold a property in an LLC (sole proprietor) can it be sold to an LLC that my son is the sole proprietor of?

Some other factors to consider - How long are you planning to hold this property?

You're running a business and when you proactively do so, your tenants will know that you're holding up your end of the lease - and if they don't, they don't stay.Hope this helps.  

You're not looking to do that, you're looking to keep it as a rental/hold it due to the rate.Have you gotten the insurance update in Houston?
