Technology affords us the opportunity to invest anywhere we want, might as well take advantage of it!

How has technology shaped and influenced marketing to this niche?

The rest of my properties are in the Midwest but I do have partners in cities (outside of Cincy) where I have my properties.Having said that, I understand Boston is quite expensive.Option #1: is to invest in areas, say 1 hour away from Boston and hopefully not as expensive as Boston. 1 hour is close enough that you can still monitor your investment but not too far that you waste so much time on travel.And yes, with the technology nowadays you can monitor your properties from a distance.

Lastly, are there any technologies I should implement starting out such as Quickbooks.

Some may prefer to utilize the convenience of technology while others want to maintain personal relationships.

@Chao Liu with today’s technology agents are not needed.If you don’t have time or are have to many units to do it yourself they can be useful but... they will not do a better job than you and in most cases don’t have better marketing techniques to reach more people.
