While the impact of the hike was not all that loud, there is one there and it will be a slow grind on consumption of product as borrowing costs start to inch up.

Floor is dry through rain for the past few years, but still waiting for the deluge type of storm that caused the rising water table to occur; the 5+ inches in a few hours rain storm (n my area those are usually some form of tropical storm).  

Now I am inching my way back up to 700. 

That 1/8 inch of clearance protects the particleboard from the inevitable water on the floor..

You will need a minimum of 2 inches, anything else will not last.

, and seems extremely durable... but there are a few individual tiles that are jutting out of the floor in some spots of about a half an inch, to an inch!! 

These windows are 50 inches above the floor and the "fall" would be about the same. 

You could conceivably spray 6 inches of foam on the existing ceiling and then put a drop ceiling below it for the unit downstairs.

There is NO VALUE in inching up the bid when under the reserve.
