Maybe I have an unfounded expectation that Turnkeys will allow me to ease into REI and start to learn some of the concepts slowly before going all in but maybe I need to make the jump.

OK, so I'm fairly new to the community here, but a couple of months ago I picked up the BRRRR book and I'm in love with the concept. 

Its not really a day job if you love what you are doing.Like to hear from others who have retired but continued pursuing property investing/projects The word and concept of "retirement" isn't found anywhere in the bible. 

I think I am wrestling with that exact concept.

Its not open concept and the kitchen and one bathroom could use some updating.

@Kevin MillerWelcome to BP, Kevin.First, I think what you should focus is really understanding the BRRRR process well enough because if you are trying to teach the kids and grandkids, it will be a good idea for you to grasp the concepts very well.

I love the concept of Matterport, but it is very pricey.

Our home is open concept so it literally heats the entire place.My daughters home was just an ugly dirty wood burning fireplace so I converted that to a gas log setup & ran the gas lines myself.

The seminar, which held in my home state of New Jersey, introduced me to the concepts of REI Investing through the purchase of tax liens and deeds.
